ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Project Management team in a fast-paced, global organization within an innovative and unique industry.
- Based in Betzdorf, Luxembourg, you will contribute to an ESA proposal and implementation within SES TechCom and promote best practices of project/program management.
- The incumbent will collaborate with the PMO team responsible for project management.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY RESULT AREAS
- Cooperate with the Project Manager and project team by taking over specific tasks related to administration, documentation, organization and control of the project.
- Support parts of the project which includes:
- Help maintaining project schedule and risk register
- Coordination of internal and external resources
- Preparation of meetings and reviews
- Actions tracking and chasing
- Administrative support to the project team and along the requirements (Engineering, QA/PA, CADM, Legal…)
- Support the Project Managers in the documentation fulfilment (preparing data packages) for projects.
- Provide support to PMO in setting up regular and ad-hoc meetings; prepare minutes and summaries of actions to be taken, and track progress on planned issues and follow-up with focal points.
- Provide support to the PMO Team with the extraction and collection of data from different sources.
- Ensure good accessibility to the internal documentation by assisting in distributing project documents and reports, etc.
- Assess and suggest improvement of processes and tools used for the project/program management.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Current student in Engineering, Information Technology, Project Administration and Organization or in a relevant area
- Interest in Project Management and in the global technology, space, media, and telecom business
- Strong computer literacy (MS PowerPoint, Excel, MS Word, MS Access, SharePoint)
- Fluency in English; proficiency in an additional EU-27 language is considered an asset
OTHER KEY REQUIREMENTS / COMMENTS
- EU-citizens or work permit for Luxembourg
- Experience in interacting with Institutional bodies
- Expertise in the following fields is considered a strong asset:
- Knowledge of ECSS standards and ESA project lifecycle
- Experience with EU/ESA “protected” and “classified” projects
- Expertise in the following fields is considered an asset:
- Quantum and/or Governmental Satellite Communications
