Internship - Graphic Design & Brand

ROLE DESCRIPTION 
Are you looking for a 6-month internship starting in May 2023 ? 

Are you a natural collaborator who wishes to learn various disciplines in engaging key stakeholders across the business to use your graphic design skills to support brand communications campaigns? Then this internship is for you.  

Based in The Hague (Netherlands) or Betzdorf (Luxembourg), you will be responsible for providing support to all aspects of brand strategy and development projects that serve to bring to life the brand promise of SES. You will gain invaluable experience in this fast-moving, dynamic discipline. 
The Graphics Design Intern will also provide input into the creation of outreach strategies and brand-focused marketing collateral consistent with corporate strategy and brand guidelines.

In this context, your responsibilities include but will not be limited to:

• Design support on projects from creative ideation to completion while ensuring effective and on-time delivery of quality creative services;
• Working directly with internal teams to ensure brand design requests are clearly defined and that the creative strategy is effectively implemented;
• Coordinating the development of a variety of design materials: banners, brochures, posters, flyers in accordance with our brand identity;
• Assisting on creative concepts and translating them into tangible and meaningful design to achieve the communication objectives;
• Organizing projects from start to completion, proposing creative solutions and advising internal clients on timing on their needs;
• Supporting the creative direction of all brand-focused video & animation elements for use on www.ses.com, Vimeo, YouTube etc;
• Assisting the wider Marketing & Communications team when creating brand-focused campaigns to reach external and internal audiences;
• Assisting with the creation, preparation of internal newsletters, intranet articles and social media news and posts.

YOUR PROFILE

1. You must have

• Being a current Bachelor’s or Master’s degree student in Graphic Design or related area;
• Understanding of Microsoft Office Suite products, in particular PowerPoint and Word;
• Knowledge of Adobe CC applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat);
• Have a good level of proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite;
• Fluency in English with strong writing skills;
• Able to work in the Netherlands or Luxembourg (EU-nationality or current valid work permit for The Netherlands or Luxembourg).

2. It would be nice if you had 

• Enthusiasm to gain design experience;
• Relevant understanding of the graphic design industry; 
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft tools (Word/Powerpoint);
• Other language skills considered an asset.
