Internship - Global Customer Experience (Continuous Improvement)

ROLE DESCRIPTION

Are you someone with a drive for continuous improvement and can’t help but look at the big picture? You love connecting with a variety of people from all parts of an organization, learning and connecting dots as you go along? 
Great! We have a 6-month internship opportunity, starting in Q1 2023 and we have been looking for you!
 

Based in The Hague, you will contribute to SES’ global customer experience (CX) team by working both with the team on large projects and handling your own assignments and initiatives to aid our continuous improvement efforts. With four CX professionals by your side you will get hands-on experience on what this exciting field entails. Through your daily work, you will not only develop your skills in CX, but also get the opportunity to work with other departments, expanding your network and knowledge in different contexts.

 

Your responsibilities will be the following:

  • Shadowing SES’ global customer experience team in their daily work: 
    • Support customer research (both qualitative and quantitative)
    • Support in promoting customer-centricity within the organization
  • Support our continuous improvement efforts. Within our team we collect a lot of valuable customer data and are actively translating that into actionable insights. We would love to see you challenge and improve the way we materialize improvements and actions in the organization. We look forward to learning from your own creative skills and ideas around this topic supported by a good understanding of continuous improvement principles like Lean or Six Sigma.

 

YOUR PROFILE
1. You must have
•    Current student in Engineering or Business school student with a background in continuous improvement (Last year of Bachelor's Degree, Master student or proven strong affinity in these topics)
•    Customer centric mindset
•    Experience in continuous improvement
•    Fluency in spoken and written English 
•    EU-citizens or work permit for The Netherlands

 

2. It would be nice if you had

•    Strong interest in the media/(satellite)telecommunication business
•    Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
•    Curious and a fast learner
