Internship - Credit & Collection Analyst

ROLE DESCRIPTION

Are you looking for a 6-month internship in Finance starting in February 2023?

 

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Credit & Collection (C&C) team in a fast-paced, growing organization within a dynamic industry.

 

Based in The Hague, The Netherlands, you will assist the C&C team to collect amounts due from customers (globally), resolving collection-related matters with the overall objective of lowering past-due customer receivable balances for both SES Video and SES Networks. After a period of training and familiarization with collection tools and processes a series of important tasks will be performed. Among others, you will be responsile for (non-exhaustive list):

  • Responding to and resolve customer inquiries regarding collections matters;
  • Providing assistance related to collection matters, to both internal and external stakeholders;
  • Preparing files for the debt collection agent or outside counsel;
  • Periodically updating debtors with the collection agent activities; 
  • Customer data cleaning e.g. indent new customers and assign CRM tasks.

 

YOUR PROFILE

1. You must have

  • Current student in Business Management, Finance/Economics, or any other relevant area;
  • Strong Excel and other Ms applications literacy;
  • Fluency in spoken and written English;
  • Able to work in the Netherlands (EU-citizenship or current valid work permit for the Netherlands).

 

2. It would be ice if you had 

  • Strong interest in working in the finance department of satellite communications in particular;
  • Additional languages considered an asset.
