CONTEXT
Delivering data connectivity and video satellite services to millions of people across North America, Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) creates unique business opportunities. With year-on-year growth in the region, SES – the global satellite operator – is perfectly placed to serve increased demand thanks to multi- ple satellite launch programs focusing on emerging markets including Latin America in the next 2 years, adding capacity to this growing region.
The Latin America market requires a unique approach to each country, respecting its specific history, cul- ture, language and location. Thanks to the closeness to the local markets and customers, the LAC team can act quickly, efficiently and effectively.
The internship will be 12-months to 24 months (about 2 years) internship, starting in February 2025.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Field Marketing team in a fast-paced, global organization within an innovative and unique industry.
Based in Sao Paulo – Brazil, you will contribute to our Marketing, Event and Digital Strategy implementation and with the operational and tactical activities around Americas (Brazil, Latam, Mexico and North America).
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Get an overall understanding about Marketing area, including tools as Drupal, SAP, Marketo and Microsoft Dynamics
- Basic knowledge of Photoshop
- Learn processes and guidelines that are guiding the Marketing area
- Establish relationship with the stakeholders around Americas
- Coordinate the Tracking sheet weekly process,
- Execute services to support Events in Brazil, LATAM and North America
- Assist and be responsible for the coordination of the Lead Generation Process
- Support the creation and implementation of the LinkedIn posts for Brazil and HAS
- Support the website creation and updating process
- Be one of the contact points with the Digital agency
- Assist the creation of PR and PO`s and the Invoicing process
- Manage and prepare reports from our External Vendors as BSD Portal, Teletime, Telaviva, SET magazine, Telesemana, LinkedIn and Americas Marketo Campaigns
- Support the Sales and Marketing teams in the Events (just in Sao Paulo).
- Implementing satisfaction surveys, event reports, plus formulating and executing continuous improvement plans
- Localizes, when it applies, centrally produced solutions content and leverages that content across campaigns that generate sales leads in key segments such as Video, Maritime, Aeronautical, Tel- ecom, Energy, Government and Cloud Service Providers
YOUR PROFILE
- Being an advanced Bachelor/ master's student in Marketing, Advertising or Digital Marketing or in a relevant technical area with, at least, 2 years before finishing the University when this Internship program starts.
- Strong interest in the media/telecommunication business and technical interest in satellites
- Excellent analytical and judgment skills, and experience with Vendors will be a plus.
- Ability to set priorities and to work under tight deadlines.
- Computer literate (MS PowerPoint, Excel, Access, MS-Project, Photoshop and Acrobat);
- Work independently as well as in a team;
- Easiness to communicate at all levels
- Strong project management skills, networking, and self-motivation essential
- Communications excellence – is an outstanding written, visual and spoken communicator, both grammatically and creatively
- English, Brazilian Portuguese and Spanish are mandatory.
