ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Delivering data connectivity and satellite video services to millions of people across North America, Latin America, and the Caribbean (LAC) creates unique business opportunities. With year-on-year growth in the region, SES, the global satellite operator, is well positioned to meet increasing demand, thanks to multiple satellite launch programs focused on emerging markets, including Latin America, over the next two years, adding capacity to this growing region.
The Latin American market requires a tailored approach for each country, respecting its specific his-tory, culture, language, and location. Thanks to close relationships with local markets and customers, the LAC team can act quickly, efficiently, and effectively.
The internship will take place over 12 months, starting in June 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Field Marketing team in a fast-paced, global or-ganization within an innovative and unique industry. Based in Rio de Janeiro , Brazil, you will contribute to the implementation of our marketing, event, and digital strategies, as well as support operational and tactical activities across the Americas (Brazil, Latin America, Caribeean and North America).
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY RESULT AREAS
• Gain an overall understanding of the Marketing area, including tools such as Drupal, SAP, Marketo, and Microsoft Dynamics
• Develop basic knowledge of Photoshop
• Learn the processes and guidelines that guide the Marketing area
• Establish relationships with stakeholders across the Americas
• Coordinate the weekly tracking sheet process
• Execute activities to support events in Brazil, LATAM, and North America
• Assist with and take responsibility for coordinating the lead generation process
• Support the creation and implementation of LinkedIn posts for Brazil and HAS
• Support website creation and updating processes
• Act as one of the contact points with the digital agency
• Assist in the creation of PRs and POs, as well as the invoicing process
• Manage and prepare reports from external vendors such as BSD Portal, Teletime, Telaviva, SET Magazine, Telesemana, LinkedIn, and Americas Marketo campaigns
• Support the Sales and Marketing teams during events (based in São Paulo)
• Implement satisfaction surveys, prepare event reports, and help formulate and execute con-tinuous improvement plans
• Localize, when applicable, centrally produced solutions content and leverage it across cam-paigns that generate sales leads in key segments such as Video, Maritime, Aeronautical, Tel-ecom, Energy, Government, and Cloud Service Providers
COMPETENCIES
• Strong interest in the media/telecommunication business and technical interest in satellites
• Excellent analytical and judgment skills, and experience with Vendors will be a plus.
• Ability to set priorities and to work under tight deadlines.
• Computer literate (MS PowerPoint, Excel, Access, MS-Project, Photoshop and Acrobat);
• Work independently as well as in a team;
• Easiness to communicate at all levels
• Strong project management skills, networking, and self-motivation essential
• Communications excellence – is an outstanding written, visual and spoken communicator, both grammatically and creatively
• Ai expert or at least, Curious about this technology.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Digital Marketing, or a related technical field, with at least two years remaining before graduation at the start of the intern-ship program
• Fluency in spoken and written English and Spanish are mandatory and any additional language will be considered an asset.
OTHER KEY REQUIREMENTS / COMMENTS
• Main interfaces to other departments as Brand Team, marketing Operations and with the creative agency
• Marketo Knowledge and Dynamics will be a plus
