Director Sales Brazil Southern Cone

The Director Sales Brazil and Southern Cone will be responsible for successfully leading a regional team to achieve or surpass the company's goals in the region.  This indivdiual is responsible for developing, driving and adjusting the regional stategy in order to bring us into a leadership position in the key target markets.  He/she will support the sales team influencing C-level executives and other decision makers within existing and new accounts.  He/she will lead complex negotaitions and recommend best course of actions when facing challenging situations.  He/she will identify industry trends and geopolitical changes and recommend the best course of action to the organization. He/she will grow the team as required, ensuring we hire top quality candidates and making sure we maintain a motivated and driven team.


Extended Job Description:



  • Deliver yearly sales and revenue targets for the region
  • Develop and implement go to market regional strategy
  • Play a pivotal role in negotiations with existing and new customers
  • Present compelling cases to secure the resources needed to be the market leader in the region
  • Lead and motivate the regional team
  • Recruit talented individuals to continue our regional expansion 
  • Represent the company at industry events, in interactions with the press, and in workshops and customer presentations
  • Possess and develop a high-level network of executives within the targeted sector and have good knowledge of regional market, industry trends, and competitors
  • Understand the value of ‘complex sales’ and can sell across every level to a diverse customer base

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience selling complex telecommunications solutions including services, capacity, and equipment to telecom carriers, mobile operators, ISPs and government entities
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Technical or Business Master’s degree is a plus
  • Successful experience managing sales teams
  • Past Sales Engineering & Product Management Experience is preferred
  • Exceeding sales goals, closing skills, territory management, prospecting skills, negotiation, presentation skills, and client relationships are all key factors to have
  • Must have high level contacts within targeted telecom, mobile operators and service providers



  • MBA is a plus
  • Frequent travel (Up to 40%)
