How our Government Product Managers Take our Customer Stories Anywhere

As a Product Manager, Government o3b mPOWER you’ll be part of a global team leading development of outcome-oriented products that makes governments more successful. We’re looking for:

  • An enthusiastic product leader with proven success across the full product life cycle, from requirements definition and product vision and development through product launch and sustainment, aligning internal and external partners on scope, schedule and budget
  • A skilful analyst, equally comfortable with quantitative and qualitative strategies to determine customer requirements and needs and valuation, including through market research and face-to-face customer meetings
  • A strong communicator who uses orall and written vehicles to build mindshare with customers, colleagues and senior decision makers using a full range of verbal, visual and analytical tools
  • A team player, who knows how to build trust and how to operate on both tactical and operational level


To leave your imprint we don’t just need you to be a knowledgeable professional but also rely on your interpersonal skills and integrity, as they are key to this role and your success in the organisation. With this said we’d like your contribution in:

  • Defining and implementing a product roadmap for O3b mPower core product lines with clear strategic premise against existing and future technical and commercial alternatives
  • Working with external partners to define and deliver high value product features that create seamless end-to-end customer experience across partner platforms and services
  • Collaborating with sales and marketing colleagues to develop product marketing and sales strategies
  • Developing value based sustainable commercial offering by analysing market trends, developing product pricing, forecasting sales volume and analysing production and sales costs
  • Building and maintaining a strong alliance with key stakeholders in Global and US sales, the technical and platform product teams, Technology and Global Services

What We Are Looking For:

Given the nature of the role we feel it’s important for you to understand your own added value and make yourself heard. All this is making us actively search for the following:

  • Relevant business/technical Bachelor’s degree / 10 years’ experience, Master’s degree / 5 years’ experience 
  • 5 years’ experience in product management or 10 years’ experience in relevant sales or technical role with demonstrated product management skills
  • Experience developing technology offerings for government organizations, with focus on IT, satellite and Cloud solutions
