Team Leader, Content Operations

ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

You are leading the local Content Operations (CO) team with focus on delivering the best quality of service to our global customers by taking into account the agreed SLAs. As a Team Leader you are asked to implement clear and stable working processes and accountabilities in order to increase efficiency in a rapidly changing business environment.

In addition to the regular CO tasks in the day-to-day business (such as dealing with customer work orders) you are responsible for the planning and implementation of the various CO projects to ensure future proof standards.

We are looking for a customer-focused professional that provides leadership and a high degree of service expertise to support SES customers.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY RESULT AREAS

  • Manage and lead a team of service specialists to ensure a stable and efficient team structure
  • Proactive provide a continues improvement process in order to deliver a high level of service quality and consistency
  • Manage and execute customer projects
  • Responsible for the effective coordination, execution as well as communication of customer services such as:
    • Playout scheduling and content material settings (for linear DTH, OTT and VOD distribution
    • Incoming inspection of all new materials - capture, validation and correction of metadata and management of video/audio material
    • Technical evaluation of video/audio material
    • Handling of work order for services for ingest, quality check, transcoding, storage and delivery of video material in respect of the SES Content Management Services
  • Collaborate and work together with external customers and internal engineering on the execution of customer demands (i.e. scheduling information, EPG, OTT)
  • Align with stakeholders and interfaces on internal standards and processes

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent
  • Minimum 6 years of applicable working experience
  • Strong people management skills
  • Strong experience in leading projects
  • Solid technical knowledge & education
  • Fluency in English, any other language is considered as an asset
