How our Logistics Operators take our customers stories anywhere

We’re looking for:

  • A proactive and can-do attitude, with a focus on customer service
  • Someone who has excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to work on one’s own initiative, and without direct or little supervision
  • A critical thinker to look for best practices and room for improvement


To leave your imprint we don’t just need you to be a knowledgeable professional but also rely on your interpersonal skills and integrity, as they are key to this role and your success in the organization. With this said we’d like your help in:

  1. Performing activities of outbound/inbound processes, including physical shipment reconciliation; all export shipments for SES Germany, HD+ and Astra, domestic Germany and international
  2. Receiving goods, unpacking and storage of all goods; including verifying against purchase orders
  3. Record receiving goods in SAP
  4. Receipt of quotations for shipping + prices negotiations with Freight Forwarders
  5. Maintain outstanding receiving, delivery, and shipping files
  6. Shipments /goods packing in cartons, pallets/containers
  7. Inspection of goods during reception avoiding any DOA equipment
  8. Preparation "airway bill": shipping paperwork and updating the carrier software and insurance
  9. Coordination of delivery collection, support stuck deliveries: release from airport or port, taxation
  10. Issuance of export list for shipped and returned equipment
  11. Receipt of engineering equipment, marking and inventory management
  12. Collaborate with peers and other cross functional stakeholders, supporting projects and participate in process enhancements creating efficiencies
  13. Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities

Who are we looking for?

Given the nature of the role we feel it’s important for you to understand your own added value and make yourself heard. All this is making us actively search for the following:

  • Forklift driver license
  • Knowledge of standard customs regulations, freight and Incoterms etc.
  • Microsoft Office and SAP user-knowledge level
  • Willingness and ability to handle physical tasks as required
  • Fluent English & German
  • Experience working in a high-tech and/or international environment preferred
