Specialist, Business Planning HD PLUS

Role description summary


You, in the role of the business planner, will support the commercial team with regards to the calculation of business cases for new products. Furthermore, you will analyze special topics like churn rates and pay to pay conversions of existing products, to identify fields of actions if necessary. You will develop the relevant input of the commercial department for the yearly business planning and work very closely with the controlling.

Primary responsibilities / Key result areas


  • Creation of various business cases for new products
  • Responsible for large parts of business planning with regard of revenues and quantities
  • Detailed analysis of special topics from the business units in close coordination with the reporting team
  • Automation of sales & business reporting
  • Calculation of the profitability of HD + products




  • Solid experience in the preparation of business plans and business cases
  • Seeks to innovate in all areas of work, especially existing systems and processes
  • Highly developed numerical and analytical skills with experience in the use of databases, the data warehouse and the automation of processes
  • Excellent organization and planning skills
  • Flexibility and proven ability to work successfully and collegially in a multi-cultural environment


Qualifications & Experience


  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience within the controlling or business intelligence unit in a B2C company
  • Experience of budget and business case planning
  • Strong team player able to work for controlling as well as for the commercial team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English
