ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Solutions Architect is responsible for researching, designing, and mapping out solutions to complex and technical issues, ultimately creating technical requirements outline for prospective projects. You will design system architecture, support infrastructure, provide software recommendations and supervision and guidance to development teams.
You will be responsible for (this is not an exhaustive list):
• Building and integrating technical solutions to meet the company’s needs.
• Assessing the systems architecture currently in place and working with the system to recommend solutions to improve it.
• Continually researching current and emerging technologies and proposing changes where needed.
• Informing various stakeholders about any problems with the current technical solutions being implemented.
• Assessing the business impact that certain technical choices have.
YOUR PROFILE
1. You must have
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, software engineering, computer science, or related field.
• At least 3+ years of working experience in one or multiple IT areas.
• Proven experience in software engineering and software architecture design.
• Previous project management experience is advantageous.
• A good understanding of software design principles and microservice architecture
2. It would be nice if you had
• In-depth understanding of coding languages (Java, JavaScript).
• Know-how in Azure Cloud would be beneficial.
• Know-how in Atlassian Confluence, JIRA would be beneficial.
• High level of written and spoken German
• Knowledge and experience of Agile methodologies e.g. Scrum, Kanban
• Knowledge and experience of DevOps methodology
