Sales Representative North HD PLUS

ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The Sales Representative manages all HD+ sales activities in the assigned area with about 100 directly supervised retailer and 250 not directly supervised retailer, being responsible for all HD+ hardware revenues (HD+ modules and HD+ Cards) and for the growth of technical reach in the respective area (HD+ Modules/HD+ STBs/TVs with HD+ integrated).
In this position you will ensure the availability of HD+ products everywhere at any time, highly visible at the point of sale (especially with regard to TV sets with HD+ integrated), while planning, budgeting and implementing regional sales activities with the assigned customers (retail stores like Media Markt, Saturn, MediMax, Expert e.g.).
You will be responsible for (this is not an exhaustive list):
- Securing planned hardware sales in the sales area (HD+ modules and HD+ cards)
- Responsibility for the areawide availability and prominent presentation of our products in the retail stores (HD+ modules/HD+ cards/HD+ extensions/HD+ STBs & TVs with HD+ integrated)
- Development and implementation of concepts to optimise the POS & online presence of HD+ in retail
- Initiation of promotional sales and marketing activities in the area with the retail partners (sell in and sell out)
- Analysis of the sales KPIs of the area and derivation of appropriate measures
- Promotion of sales of TV sets with HD+ integrated in the area to strengthen their market share
- Training of trade partners to consolidate their HD+ knowledge and promote sales
- Identify and initiate sales opportunities in the assigned area
- Support of dealers in the allocated area & optimisation of the flow of information to our dealers
- Participation in trade fairs
- Efficient use of budget in the area
- Planning and implementation of annual appraisals with the retail partners
- Creation of a rolling forecast
- Competition monitoring
YOUR PROFILE:
Must Have
- Completed commercial/technical training or equivalent studies
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in sales/representation preferably in the CE market
- Familiar with using the MS-Office programs
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
- Confident, convincing appearance and communication skills
- Presentation, negotiation and closing abilities
- Willingness to travel
