ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
SES is looking for a Frontend Software Developer to flourish the existing codebase and to design and deliver new solutions in cooperation with external Software development companies and contractors by designing software architecture and selection of an appropriate server infrastructure, as well as identifying appropriate frameworks and programming languages. In this position you will work on different projects, which means you will be developing Web Applications, native Applications for Apple or Android devices or a TV Applications based on HbbTV standard.

You will be responsible for (this is not an exhaustive list):
- Writing and documenting the source code using Clean Code Principles
- Decision making about software components
- Development of complex end-to-end solutions and managing the whole development chain
- Independent work and work in teams on solution architectures
- Guidance of technology providers and consultants
- Setting up and monitoring project plans to fulfill product management’s timelines as lead in coordination with other departments
- Reporting of project status to the management and other departments
YOUR PROFILE:
1. Must Have
- University, engineering degree (TU or HS, with degree of M.Sc.) or an education in software developer or related field
- Computer/programming skills: Deep knowledge about JavaScript (>= ECMAScript 5), Typescript, NodeJS
- JS libraries like ReactJS, Preact or React Native
- HTML, CSS, and CSS preprocessors like Sass (SCSS) or Less
