Digital Marketing Manager HD+

Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, the Digital Marketing Manager HD+ is primarily responsible for generating revenue by increasing sales and avoiding churn through successful digital marketing campaigns across the organisation.By implementing the marketing strategy and planning, the role increases brand visibility and awareness through continuous brand management.

 

The incumbent ensures that corporate messages are disseminated across all digital channels and segments for which it is responsible by overseeing the planning, development, budgeting, organisation, implementation and performance of all marketing functions.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY RESULT AREAS

  • The main task is the independent conception, implementation and reporting of online performance campaigns using SEO, SEA, paid social (Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok), Google DV360, app stores, mobile marketing and affiliate marketing.
  • The role will develop, manage and optimise the company's own consumer website, including a web shop with a rapidly growing product portfolio (www.hd-plus.de).
  • Due to the web shop and the digital campaigns the position is responsible for the realization of revenues from the sale of HD+ modules, HD+ renewals and HD+ subscriptions to end consumers.
  • Despite the strong focus on digital marketing, the position as a marketing all-rounder supports the Head of Marketing and the marketing team in the implementation of 360 degree marketing campaigns in other communication segments such as retail, product, event and partner marketing as well as social media and media planning.
  •  Manage highly efficient small project teams across the business (e.g. marketing, sales, PR, product management, customer care, legal).
  • Brief and manage external marketing agencies

 

COMPETENCIES

  • Deep experience of digital marketing and e-commerce for B2C in Germany:
    • Comprehensive, strategic understanding of online marketing functionality and performance KPIs
    • Good understanding of the relationships between channels and campaign modules
    • Strong knowledge of SEA, display, paid social and affiliate marketing
    • Experience in target group analysis and selection
    • Familiarity with platforms such as Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager and other relevant digital marketing tools.
    • The ability to analyses and interpret data in order to derive and plan online strategies.
  • A sense of responsibility for areas of accountability, combined with an ability to anticipate problems and manage risks.
  • Seeking innovation in all areas of work, not immediately satisfied with existing systems and processes
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills; results oriented
  • Flexibility and proven ability to work successfully and collegially in a multicultural environment
  • Proven experience in leading and motivating project teams and external agencies
  • Strong communication skills in German
  • Demonstrated ability to work across functional boundaries to maximize overall business objectives

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 5-8 years relevant work experience with multinational companies in a responsible marketing role at best in the broadcast or telecommunications industry.
  • Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Communications or equivalent, other post-graduate marketing qualifications an advantage
  • Highly proficient in relevant tools such as Storyblok, Confluence, Jira, Facebook Business Manager, Google Ads and Google Analytics 4
  • Fluent written and spoken German for business reasons and good business English
  • Proven ability to develop effective strategies and plans for all aspects of digital marketing
  • Excellent experience of marketing planning, budgeting and execution - can demonstrate strong project management skills
  • A project leader with excellent creative and analytical skills
  • Willingness to travel
