Coordinator Sales HD PLUS

HD+ is a B2C platform selling an encrypted TV package of 24 Channels in HD and 2 Channels in UHD directly to end-users. The HD+ service costs 5,75€ / month or 70€ annually. Currently, HD+ has about 2 million paying customers.

 

ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

This position is not to be confused with a classic assistant function, you will take over sales tasks that are existentially important for sales success in addition to the field sales activities of the area sales managers and the sales control activities of the sales management.

You will be responsible for the internal monitoring and control of the WKZ (Werbekostenzuschuss) budgets in Sales in coordination with Controlling to ensure, that the defined budgets are not exceeded. This is very important because planned and executed WKZ arrangements are not visible within the ERP environment before booking.

You will be responsible for ensuring, together with the accounts receivable management, that our trading partners meet their requirements in terms of the WKZ and bonus agreements. The support lies primarily in the direct clarification of open items with the retail stores or key accounts in close coordination with the respective area sales manager. You will edit and manage agreements with retailers (Aktionsvereinbarungen) while checking whether the predefined budgets are not being exceeded.

Extended Job Description:

 

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY RESULT AREAS

Budget sales

  • Monitoring of SAP and WKZ (Werbekostenzuschuss) budget & weekly coordination with the sales management and control.
  • Regular updating of Key Account planning.
  • Creation of SAP POs and Service Entry Sheets.
  • Development and maintenance of the WKZ budget dashboard and regular comparison of the budget list with the steering system (Xtrade).

 

Accounts Receivable Management

  • Maintenance of the (retail) pricing report.
  • Dispatch of sales revenues analyses to key accounts and checking of bonus settlements.
  • Support of the accounts receivable management in the clarification of open items with the key accounts.

 

Action Agreements

  • Creation of agreements with retailers based on the information of the GVL/KAMs in the steering system (Xtrade).
  • Dispatch to GVLs and transfer to the budget list.
  • Upload of data in Xtrade and release of debit notes.
  • Development of new templates for agreements with retailers (AKV) in coordination with Legal and Controlling.
  • Development of appropriate templates for Xtrade and transfer to systems & processes.

 

Marketing of HD+ products in the online environment

  • Regular monitoring of the display of HD+ products at relevant online retailers.
  • Provision of current HD+ content (text/pictures/videos) and monitoring of future use.

 

Creation of the weekly Sales Info in consultation with Marketing and Corporate Communications.

Maintenance of the dealer lists as a basis for the visit planning tool Portatour.

Organization of national meetings, KAM meetings, and meetings of the sales regions.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience (ideally within the consumer electronics market in Germany).
  • Proven sales experience/background.
  • Experience in sales planning & budgeting.
  • Proven ability to work successfully and collegially in a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
