Extended Job Description: 

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY RESULT AREAS

 

  • Develop and execute campaign strategies to drive increased consumer engagement and revenue
  • Oversee the planning and implementation of email marketing campaigns to achieve targets
  • Establish a best practice framework to maximize efficiency, consistency and effectiveness 
  • Development of a holistic campaign management including reporting, KPIs
  • Conception of campaigns for existing customers as well as independent development of new ideas to optimize campaign management
  • Initiation of various projects to reduce the churn in the customer base, to increase customer loyalty and to increase cross-selling and up-selling
  • Be the “go-to” person for all email campaign questions; give guidance and support to sales and product management; manage simple technical queries with our suppliers
  • Interface between customer management and marketing / sales to ensure sales goals

 

COMPETENCIES

 

  • Good understanding of CRM applications throughout the customer lifecycle
  • Good understanding of data segmentation and profiling techniques
  • Ability to work autonomously and stick to deadlines with a high level of accuracy
  • Keen eye for detail is absolutely essential

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related fields
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in Customer Relationship Management (ideally direct marketing and loyalty programs)
  • Experience in the planning and execution of CRM campaigns to grow revenue and customer loyalty
  • Experience in an email marketing role either client or agency side
  • Previous experience of working with an Email Service Provider (such as Maileon) is essential
  • Knowledge of HTML would be beneficial
  • Knowledge of Marketing-Automation, CRM-, CMS- or  E-Mail-Marketing-Systems
  • German language skills required
