MCR Operator, Sports & Events

Role Description
As our MCR Operator, Sports & Events, you will be responsible for: (this is not an exhaustive list)
- Configure, test, and execute Occasional Use feeds via Satellite, Fiber, or OTT
- Initial point of contact for all company’s clients during events by responding via email, phone, and monitoring systems
- Managing escalation process through to resolution including coordination with in-house engineers and 3rd parties
- Quality check feeds and recorded material to ensure it meets SES specifications
You will be a valued member of a team of 8-10 operators based locally working to monitor, operate, and support all of the company’s Sports & Events global and domestic content distribution services!
Your Profile
Must Haves
- Basic computer skills
- Sports knowledge/interest
- Ability to work shift rotations, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Nice to Have
- 2-year degree, or equivalent combination of experience/education in RF, satellite, video, and/or electronics
- Experience with broadcast equipment
- Practical engineering experience
