MCR Operator, Sports & Events

Role Description

As our MCR Operator, Sports & Events, you will be responsible for: (this is not an exhaustive list)

• Configure, test, and execute Occasional Use feeds via Satellite, Fiber, or OTT
• Initial point of contact for all company’s clients during events by responding via email, phone, and monitoring systems
• Managing escalation process through to resolution including coordination with in-house engineers and 3rd parties
• Quality check feeds and recorded material to ensure it meets SES specifications

You will be a valued member of a team of 8-10 operators based locally working to monitor, operate, and support all of the company’s Sports & Events global and domestic content distribution services!

Your Profile

Must Haves

• Basic computer skills
• Sports knowledge/interest
• Ability to work shift rotations, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Nice to Have

• 2-year degree, or equivalent combination of experience/education in RF, satellite, video, and/or electronics
• Experience with broadcast equipment
• Practical engineering experience
