ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The The HR Operations Specialist (Israel) plays a key role in supporting employees and managers across the employee lifecycle within Israel. This position focuses on delivering high-quality HR operational support, ensuring compliance with Israeli labor law and collective agreements, maintaining HR data integrity, and contributing to a positive employee experience.

Acting as a trusted HR point of contact, the HR Operations Specialist supports managers and employees on day-to-day HR matters, coordinates HR processes, and partners with Centres of Expertise to ensure consistent and compliant practices. This role offers exposure to employee relations, HR compliance, compensation processes, and organizational initiatives, providing a strong foundation for future career growth in Human Resources.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY RESULT AREAS

  • Act as the primary HR point of contact for employees and managers in Israel, providing day-to-day guidance on HR policies, employment practices, benefits, leave management, performance-related matters, and employee lifecycle processes. You will build trusted relationships across the business and ensure a consistent and positive employee experience.
  • Manage and coordinate employee lifecycle activities from hire to retire, including onboarding, internal transfers, promotions, mobility support, organizational changes, and offboarding. You will ensure all processes are executed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with Israeli labor law, collective agreements, and company policies.
  • Support employee relations matters across the organization, including disciplinary actions, grievances, workplace concerns, performance issues, and termination processes. You will partner with managers, HR leadership, and legal counsel, when required, to ensure fair, compliant, and pragmatic outcomes while assisting with interactions involving employee representatives and labor unions.
  • Maintain accurate HR records, employee documentation, and transactions within HR systems while safeguarding data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance. You will prepare HR reports and workforce analytics, monitor key HR metrics, support audits and statutory reporting requirements, and provide data-driven insights to support decision-making.
  • Partner with Centres of Expertise, including Talent Acquisition, Rewards & Benefits, Payroll, and HRIS teams, to support recruitment activities, compensation review cycles, promotion and bonus administration, benefits programs, and the resolution of HR system and process-related issues.
  • Contribute to local HR initiatives that enhance employee engagement, wellbeing, diversity and inclusion, and organizational effectiveness. You will also identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen compliance, and increase operational efficiency while participating in regional and global HR projects as needed.
  • Support payroll and benefits administration activities by ensuring the accurate and timely submission of employee data changes, validating payroll inputs, resolving employee queries, and partnering with Payroll, Finance, and Benefits teams to ensure compliance with local legislation and company policies.
  • Act as the local HR partner for recruitment activities in Israel, supporting hiring managers and Talent Acquisition teams in identifying talent needs, managing recruitment processes, facilitating interviews, preparing employment offers, coordinating onboarding activities, and providing guidance on local market practices and employment regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably supporting employees and managers within Israel.
  • Working knowledge of Israeli labor law and employment practices.
  • Experience supporting employee relations matters and understanding of unionized environments and collective bargaining agreements.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience working with HR systems such as SAP SuccessFactors or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and HR reporting tools.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees, managers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a multinational and multicultural environment is preferred.
