ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

As a Specialist, Talent Acquisition at SES you will have responsibility for Talent Acquisition activities in Europe and sometimes globally. You will be responsible for the successful management of end to end recruitment campaigns from cradle to grave. You will be identifying, selecting and hiring in competitive technical talent markets for SES. Your role will involve managing internal stakeholders (hiring managers, HC colleagues) as well as the candidates ensuring all have a great experience. Your work will directly impact the growth of the business and you will create and own talent sourcing strategies to support high growth areas to enable the business to scale at pace.You will be a brand ambassador for SES and work on specific events to attract talent.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY RESULT AREAS
- A strategic recruitment role using your wide international experience to design processes and talent strategies for key technical areas of the business
- Partnering with key business stakeholders to understand the future of their teams and building recruitment plans to support the growing areas
- Responsible for full cycle technical OR non-technical recruitment and end to end management of open requisitions, including line manger intake calls, creating and posting job ads, proactive and diverse candidate search, applicants screening and interviewing, job offers and contracts
- Actively build and maintain excellent relationships with candidates, colleagues and business leaders bringing real time data intelligence to your searches to help the business make informed data-led decisions on hiring
- Be the ambassador for the company brand and culture and you instinctively sell opportunities for candidates to join an employer of choice
- Be the trusted adviser, who partners with technical business functions to understand their current and longer-term strategic skill requirements, you will not be afraid to challenge the status quo and will create and own bespoke hiring strategies for complex hires
- Provide an amazing candidate experience as this is the most critical aspect of effective talent acquisition
- Be a trusted point of contact for other HC functions, providing information and guidance and suggestions regarding the markets you are working and improvements in processes you share
- Make recommendations and provide participation in various events, job fairs, engagement with universities, professional associations, etc
- Understand how a global company operates, as well as the local market dynamics and how the TA team contributes to its success and the achievement of strategic objectives
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 4 years of recruitment experience, ideally combining both technical and non-technical hiring in global environments.
- Demonstrated success recruiting for STEM/technology roles as well as corporate, commercial, and leadership positions, enabling support across a diverse range of business functions.
- Proven ability to manage up to 15-20 requisitions concurrently while delivering high-quality hiring outcomes across multiple business areas.
- Highly proficient in LinkedIn Recruiter and a range of sourcing tools and methodologies, with strong direct sourcing and headhunting capabilities.
- Experience building employer brand partnerships and leveraging events and talent marketing initiatives to enhance talent attraction, pipeline generation, and market visibility.
The salary range for this full-time position is $75,000 - $95,000.
Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and geographic location. Individual compensation within the range is determined based on work location and a variety of factors, including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, and relevant education or training.
Additional compensation and benefits may apply depending on the location and terms of employment.
