ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Digital Marketing Specialist drives ongoing enhancements to content accessibility and sales enablement. A member of the Digital Marketing team, this role is responsible for the management of the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system and the portals which are used to distribute marketing assets (marketing materials, templates, images, videos).

 

Managing the platform to ensure digital assets are efficiently stored, organised, and easily accessible, empowering Sales and Marketing teams to leverage high-quality content for customer engagement. Responsible for coordinating asset governance, optimising asset-sharing, and driving user adoption. Responsible for the optimisation of the portals, including owning the sales content hub. Collaboration with key stakeholder across Marketing and Communications to ensure that processes for distribution of assets and content is aligned with sales and wider business needs.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY RESULT AREAS

  • Management of the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system. Responsible for the processes and platform for the storage and sharing of marketing assets across SES
  • Manage customised asset portals and collections to improve asset discovery for the wider organisation. Use data to drive improvements to the display, sharing and collections of assets
  • Owns the Sales Content Hub site, documenting feature requests and requirements from sales, product marketing and other key stakeholders, and implementing enhancements that improve the user experience of the asset portal
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Marketing, Communications, IT, Sales) and external vendors
  • Develop and enforce policies for digital asset storage, retrieval, and usage rights. Oversee the organisation, tagging, and metadata structures within the DAM. Track asset engagement metrics to identify high-performing content and optimise asset distribution.
  • Monitor system health, conduct regular audits, and troubleshoot issues. Act as the first point of contact for DAM-related questions and support
  • Develop user guides, best practices, and standard operating procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or similar
  • 3+ years of experience of similar tasks
  • Proficiency in knowledge and application of content marketing principles and strategy
  • Strong quantitative analysis and reporting skills, turning data into actionable insights
  • Proficiency in MS Office product suite and SharePoint; able to learn new applications and tools quickly
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in other languages is a plus
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
