Senior Specialist, Learning & Development
ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Our Learning & Development (L&D) team is expanding with the addition of a senior specialist, who will lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of learning solutions across the organization.
This position is responsible for ensuring employees have access to high-quality, relevant, and engaging learning opportunities, including both internally developed materials and externally sourced programs. The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping overall learning experience and promoting its adoption across the organization.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY RESULT AREAS
Design and develop learning solutions
• Develop high-quality training content as part of the internal L&D portfolio
• Translate business needs into practical and engaging learning formats (e.g., workshops, digital learning, blended solutions)
Provide and procure learning offerings
• Identify learning needs and ensure appropriate solutions are available
• Source and manage external training providers where needed
• Maintain a curated, relevant, and high-quality learning portfolio
Manage the employee learning interface
• Act as a key interface for employees and Functional Management Bodies (FMBs) on learning topics
• Ensure clarity and accessibility of available learning opportunities
• Drive targeted learning campaigns to increase engagement and participation
Support individual development
• Provide learning coaching and guidance to employees
• Help individuals navigate learning offerings and make effective development choices
Build future-oriented learning journeys
• Design and implement structured learning journeys aligned with future skill needs
• Ensure learning pathways are practical, accessible, and aligned with business priorities
Ensure quality and impact
• Track participation, feedback, and effectiveness of learning offerings
• Continuously improve content, formats, and delivery based on data and feedback
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (HR, business, communications, etc.)
• 7+ years of experience in a similar role within HR, Learning and/or Engagement area
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of other languages, such as French, German, would be an asset
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and diverse environment, and to adapt to changing needs and priorities
