Junior Analyst, FP&A Controlling

ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY


As part of the FP&A Support, Controlling & Consolidation team, the incumbent actively contributes to the master data maintenance, analysis and reporting activities of the FP&A Department.  This includes creation and maintenance of Cost Object, participating in monthly closing activities as well as providing a variety of ad-hoc support to the broader FP&A Team.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY RESULT AREAS


    Provide operational support (workflows, cost allocation), reporting, and other tasks (as and when re-quired) related to SES’ Travel Management tool (Concur)
    Support the controlling & budget management activities for FP&A, ensuring accuracy of financial in-formation and adherence to related corporate governance
    Support FPA Business Partners with creation and modification of Cost Objects (SAP ECC)
    Support the month end closing processes of the FPA team with regards to operational expenses including monthly cutoff analysis and interfacing with SES’s accounting team to facilitate required adjustments
    Responsible to create and maintain information and documentation about Controlling tools and work-flows to SES Group (via Power BI, Intranet, Tutorials etc.)
    Perform investigative analysis & projects on ad-hoc basis

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE


    University degree in Finance, Economics or Business
    Minimum 1-2 years of work experience in a Financial Control environment
    Proven experience of meeting tight deadlines
    Strong computer literacy and data management/data analysis, proficiency in Excel & solid ERP knowledge (SAP preferred)
