(Senior) Business Analyst, SAP Logistics and Supply Chain
ROLE SUMMARY
We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst, functional SAP Logistic, Supply Chain Management, Inventory and Vendor Management & Procurement, to join our SAP Team. In this role, you are responsible for the efficient support and continuous improvement of the Logistics, Supply Chain and Vendor Management & Procurement, related IT Applications, for the SES group, including the continued delivery of functionalities for this domain, keeping consistency on the global solutions and participating on key transformational projects for the company. You are providing guidance to the SES internal customers for Logistics, Supply Chain, Inventory, Vendor Management & Procurement from an IT perspective, in design of solutions related to relevant processes.
With a strong focus on cloud-based solutions, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing new functionalities and enhancements to our business systems.
The incumbent will efficiently manage the evolutive and corrective requests on the active reporting toolset of the company, in a lean and directive way.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Liaise with the ERP administration, the application administration and the security administration related to the Logistics & Supply Chain applications to enable the requested Logistics & Supply Chain functionalities
- Perform business requirement analysis, solution design, required customizing and integration with other domains, related to the Logistics & Supply Chain toolset, mainly SAP MM/SD/WM
- Establish close cooperation and interface with the other Business Applications domains (Security, functional domains, Basis operations, Infrastructure, etc.)
- Ensure a lean and agile way of working for the various initiatives on the domain
- Ensure high quality delivery of solutions for the full Business Applications Logistics & Supply Chain team (including external partners)
- Maintain a strong and transparent interaction with the different business stakeholders of the domain
- Maintain a rigorous cross application management regime ensuring that all applications are documented, run on supported software, are secure in compliance with established IT policy and practice
- Establish and maintain contact with key users of Purchasing and Warehouse Management systems within the Company and Logistic Architect
- Provide end user trainings
- Ideate new initiatives to increase the value of the operations for the Logistics & Supply Chain domains
- Remain up to date on the latest innovations on the market related to the Logistics & Supply Chain domain
- Perform all other tasks in the area of expertise as required
- Work closely with other SAP functional consultants to implement and deploy changes in SAP

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent, coupled with professional vocational training and qualifications
- Minimum of five years’ relevant experience, whereof four years or more in a similar position
- Minimum five years of professional experience working with Logistics & Supply Chain software (preferably SAP S/4 related and cloud) and in implementing tools in large international organizations
- Demonstrated hands-on technical skills on SAP MM/WM, Warehouse management mobile solutions, other SAP modules (SD, PM, PS, QM, CS, etc.), SAP Fiori
- Exhibit good understanding on SAP MM Master data management like Material, Vendor Master, Service Master, etc
- Expert knowledge in MM Purchasing activities like Quotation, Purchase Requisition, Purchase Order, Good Receipts & Service Entry Sheets, etc
- Expert understanding in MM Inventory Management including the Period End Closing activities like Inventory write-off/Inventory, write-back based on Physical Inventory adjustments
- Exhibit deep knowledge in Plant level customizations & controls in SAP MM Module
- Deep integration knowledge with SAP FI, PM and SD modules
- Good to have knowledge on Fiori applications
- Good debugging skills
- Demonstrated experience in new technologies related to SAP (S/4, Fiori, etc...)
- At least a five-year hands-on experience in the analysis, design, development, deployment, and maintenance of software applications related to Logistics & Supply Chain
- Proven track record in service support and implementation. Exposure to Service Management Tools like Service Now is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of Purchasing, Inventory and Plant Maintenance tools
- SAP Certification on SAP S/4 HANA Logistic or Procurement is a plus
- Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager (Charm)
- Strong methodological knowledge (Agile Scrum preferable) and proactivity to deploy lean / agile methodologies
- Strong knowledge of Purchasing and Warehouse Management architecture and tools
- Experience in deploying industry process standards such as ITIL and Cobit
- Strong understanding of business processes and IT
- Knowledge of the specificities of the satellite industry is a plus
- Fluency in English, any other language is considered as an asset
