(Junior) Analyst, Investor Relations

ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The incumbent supports the Investor Relations (IR) team in transparent, timely, and accurate communication with investors, analysts, and the broader capital market community. S/he will assist with data analysis and preparation of materials for investor outreach, earnings releases, and regulatory filings.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY RESULT AREAS

Financial Analysis & Reporting

  • Support preparation of financial results, variance analyses, and KPI dashboards
  • Assist in the production of investor focused presentations, fact sheets, and conference/ road show decks
  • Maintain IR consensus model and peer group model
  • Draft regular board/ management reports and support peer group benchmarking
  • Support company valuations and business case analysis

 

 

Investor Communication

  • Draft investor updates, press releases and responses to investor/ analyst queries
  • Maintain and update the IR section of the corporate website

 

Regulatory Compliance

  • Support the preparation and filing of regulatory disclosures (e.g. Listing Authority notifications)
  • Ensure adherence to corporate governance and disclosure policies

 

Database & Tools Management

  • Update and validate data in IR databases, CRM systems, and spreadsheet models
  • Run ad hoc investor/ analyst queries and analysis

 

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Support investor conferences, roadshows, and earnings calls to help capturing feedback and market sentiment
  • Liaise with internal teams (e.g. Finance, Corporate Communications, Legal, M&A) to gather information and align messaging
  • Support strategic finance activities

 

Process Optimisation

  • Identify opportunities to streamline reporting workflows and improve data accuracy
  • Contribute ideas for enhancing investor engagement strategies

COMPETENCIES

  • Strong quantitative and problem solving skills
  • Ability to analyse and interpret financial statements and market data
  • Basic understanding of securities regulations (e.g. Listing Rules, regulatory requirements)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to convey complex financial concepts clearly
  • Highly self-motivated, proactive, team player, detail oriented, comfortable handling confidential information

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related discipline
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience (e.g. internships, graduate schemes, or entry level roles in finance/ IR)
  • Financial modelling and valuation basics
  • Excellent MS Office proficiency (e.g. advanced Excel - pivot tables, VBA/macros, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Familiarity with market data platforms (e.g. Bloomberg, FactSet) and CRM systems (e.g. Nasdaq)
