We are looking for a skilled and proactive, Senior Specialist, Talent Acquisition to join our team in Bucharest on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

As a Senior Specialist, Talent Acquisition at SES, you will be responsible for end-to-end Talent Acquisition activities across Europe and occasionally on a global level. You will manage full lifecycle recruitment campaigns from cradle to grave, identifying, selecting, and hiring talent within highly competitive technical markets.

Your role will involve managing multiple internal stakeholders, including hiring managers and HC colleagues, as well as ensuring a positive, engaging experience for candidates throughout the recruitment journey. Your work will directly impact business growth, as you create and own talent sourcing and attraction strategies to support high-growth areas and enable the business to scale at pace.

You will manage multiple recruitments simultaneously, including roles operating under Agile methodologies and involving multiple stakeholders. You will specialise in a key technical area (e.g. cyber security, software, or cloud), and through in-depth research you will provide data-driven market intelligence to support hiring decisions. This includes insights on market trends and competitor intelligence, helping SES remain competitive in challenging talent markets. You will also act as a brand ambassador for SES and support targeted recruitment initiatives and events to attract top talent.

  • Providing live market data to support the business in positioning competitive compensation packages for specific skillsets and locations
  • Responsible for full-cycle technical recruitment and end-to-end requisition management, including hiring manager intake calls, job creation and posting, proactive and diverse candidate sourcing, application screening and interviewing, offers, and contract generation
  • Actively building and maintaining strong relationships with candidates, colleagues, and business leaders, using real-time data intelligence to support informed, data-led hiring decisions
  • Acting as an ambassador for the company’s brand and culture, effectively promoting SES as an employer of choice
  • Serving as a trusted adviser to technical business functions by understanding both current and long-term strategic skill needs, challenging assumptions where necessary, and creating bespoke hiring strategies for complex roles
  • Delivering an outstanding candidate experience, recognising this as a critical driver of successful talent acquisition
  • Acting as a trusted point of contact for other HC functions, providing market insights, guidance, and recommendations for continuous process improvement
  • Recommending and participating in recruitment events, job fairs, university engagement, and professional associations
  • Leading employer branding initiatives across Europe, owning projects end-to-end, including event selection, participation, and the development of long-term partnerships
  • Understanding the dynamics of operating within a global organisation, local market considerations, and how Talent Acquisition contributes to SES’s success and strategic objectives
