ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The role involves leading and managing a group of related projects to achieve strategic objectives and benefits, as well as contributing to the execution of complex, top priority projects across Engineering & Operations / Product & Innovation. You will be expected to oversee the project scope, schedule, budget, quality, artefacts and to coordinate input from program and/or project teams. You will also communicate statuses, risk and potential issues to all stakeholders.

 

You will be responsible for (this is not an exhaustive list):

  • Leading projects, with the ability to navigate complex projects and deliver results that align with the company's strategic and operational objectives
  • Leading groups of related projects to achieve strategic objectives and benefits, within the E&O Programme Office scope
  • Overseeing the program scope, schedule, budget, quality, artefacts, program team, stakeholders, communication, issues, and risks
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for program stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication
  • Preparing and presenting program status reports, metrics, and updates to stakeholders, including Executive Sponsor and Executive Steering Committee
  • Managing constraints and interdependencies across projects and secure program resources
  • Ensuring effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders
  • Managing, monitoring and resolving program and/or project level risks, issues and assumptions and monitor and report on program status and costs
  • Developing and maintaining comprehensive program documentation, including plans, schedules, budgets, and reports
  • Reviewing updates to Program Roadmap and share best practices
  • Championing the adoption of agile methodologies (the PMO and across project teams)
  • Facilitating the continuous improvement of agile practices and processes
  • Providing training and mentoring to teams on agile principles, practices, and tools

 

YOUR PROFILE

Must Have:

  • 10 years of applicable professional experience, preferably in a similar position in High Tech or IOT driven companies
  • Proven track record of successfully leading programs from inception through completion, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and budget
  • Proven ability to manage and engage with multiple stakeholders, including senior leadership, customers, and cross-functional teams
  • Project Management and Agile Development certifications
  • Extensive experience with agile methodologies and their application in a technology environment.
  • Experience in crafting compelling narratives for program updates, proposals, and presentations
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, assess, and manage program risks and issues, developing and implementing mitigation strategies
  • Strong understanding of change management principles and techniques
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring teams on agile practices and principles
  • Familiarity with software development life cycle and product development processes
  • Demonstrated adaptability, resilience, and a continuous improvement mindset
  • Fluency in English
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Encouraging team members to take ownership of shared goals fosters a sense of responsibility and commitment to the team’s success
  • Proven expertise and track record in complex, technical project, and program management
  • Proficiency in using and administering modern project management tools
  • Proactive problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Solid knowledge of demand management and project/program lifecycle process management
  • Effective conflict resolution skills, with an ability to explore all feasible avenues before escalation
