ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

 

The Training Enablement Specialist plays a key role in defining how SES Global Services delivers training to internal and external learners.  This role is responsible for all administration aspects of training and maintaining Global Services Learning Management System, training accreditations, and digital badging.

Extended Job Description:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY RESULTS AREAS 

 

  • Provide support of the learning management system for internal and external learners
  • Oversees the administration process for course implementation which includes developing creative marketing material for courses, monitoring and tracking course participation, scheduling course and facilities as well as coordinating logistics and course materials
  • Works closely with the course instructors and course attendees
  • Analyze training course evaluations and develop recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Responsible for the initiation and management of a digital badging program
  • Manage and maintain Learning Management SharePoint sites
  • Responsible for compliance with the ANSI/IACET 1-2018 standard for Continuing Education and Training and the periodic review of the organizational compliance

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

 

  • 2+ years of related professional experience as training coordinator or leading team projects
  • Degree or equivalent industry experience in Education or Satellite Communications is a plus
  • Experience with gamification and digital badging
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office including PowerBI and experience with SharePoint design and management
  • Experience managing a learning management system
  • Experience working on training programs delivered globally
  • Fluency in English, any other language is considered as an asset
