ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

 

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and execution-driven Benefits Analyst to help scale and optimize our global benefits programs. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Benefits, this role serves as a key operational partner, supporting day-to-day benefits administration while contributing to delivery across Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, and Africa.

This position is ideal for a highly organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, exercises strong ownership, and can independently manage multiple priorities across a global workforce. The successful candidate brings operational excellence, analytical capability, vendor management experience, and a passion for delivering an outstanding employee experience.

This role is based in Romania. At SES, we value in-person collaboration as a key driver of innovation and performance. Employees in this role are expected to work from the office three days per week to foster teamwork, shared ideas, and connection across our global community.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY RESULT AREAS

 

Benefits Administration

 

  • Support administration of health and welfare programs, including medical, dental, vision, life and accident, disability, leave programs, Lifestyle Spending Accounts (LSAs), and voluntary benefits
  • Assist in delivering regional benefits programs in partnership with local brokers, vendors, and HR teams
  • Contribute to global renewal cycles, implementations, employee communications, and benefits data management
  • Help ensure effective execution of regional programs while maintaining compliance with local regulations and market practices
  • Maintain accurate global benefits documentation, enrollment workflows, and reporting

 

Compliance & Vendor Management

 

  • Partner with regional stakeholders to support compliance and governance across international benefits programs
  • Assist in vendor management activities, including implementations, renewals, invoice auditing, issue resolution, and performance monitoring

 

Process Improvement & Strategic Initiatives

 

  • Identify and drive opportunities to optimize benefits operations, streamline processes, and enhance the employee experience globally
  • Analyze claims data, utilization trends, and vendor reports to generate insights and support recommendations
  • Support key annual initiatives such as Open Enrollment, systems testing and configuration, employee education, and benefits communications
  • Leverage technology and AI-enabled tools to improve operational efficiency, reporting accuracy, and communication workflows

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

 

  • 4+ years of experience in benefits administration, with demonstrated ownership of complex programs
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of health, welfare, and retirement programs across Europe, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East
  • Experience working with external vendors, brokers, and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in spreadsheets, reporting, and data audits
  • Experience with benefits administration systems
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal) is required to effectively collaborate in a global environment
  • Comfort using AI and automation tools to enhance workflows and productivity
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
