ROLE DESCRIPTION

This is a one-year contract in conjunction with Business France a part of the VIE (Volontariat International en Entreprises) scheme that allows young people from France and the European Economic Area (EEA) to launch their international career! starting in 2025.


This is an exciting opportunity based out of our Headquarters in Betzdorf Luxembourg in which you will support the Talent Acquisition with the Global Internship Program as well as administration and support for recruiting needs across the business. 


You will be at the heart of what it means to search, attract, identify, and hire incredibly talented individuals who make our ambition a reality!


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the SES Global Internship Program
    • Support internship recruitment activities across Europe 
    • Be the ambassador off the internship program internally and externally 
    • Support onboarding, employee lifecycle and offboarding for interns, including;
      • Orientation presentations
      • Employee check-ins
      • Departure surveys
    • Lead and support visits from universities and partner schools (20+ per year)
    • Act as the driving force for local and international events for interns across the years
  • Support the Talent Acquisition (Talent Acquisition, Talent Management and DEI team with tasks including, but not limited to:
    • Acting as the main PoC for publishing new roles at SES internally and externally
    • Participating in intake calls with recruiters & hiring managers and creating job descriptions are inclusive, clear and concise for external publication 
    • Planning and organizing interviews across multiple time zones, often with multiple participants
    • Supporting the TA Team with sourcing projects on LinkedIn for global roles
    • Participating in candidate attraction events like job fairs
    • Supporting reporting and data visualization activities for the Talent Acquisition, Talent Management and DEI team  
    • Supporting the Team in ad hoc projects i.e. process improvement, providing statistics, etc.   


YOUR PROFILE
1.You must have

  • A background in Human Resources, Business Administration, Sociology or a relevant area.
  • Very strong computer literacy (MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, including calendar management across different time zones
  • Be comfortable leading tour groups and speaking at Career Fairs 
  • Fluent in both English and French (written and spoken)
  • The ability to set priorities and to work under tight deadlines;
  • Able to work in Luxembourg (EU/EEA citizenship).

 

2. It would be nice if you had

  • Good understanding of HR principles and processes
  • Strong interest in the global technology, media, and telecom business and satellite communications in particular
  • Additional languages considered an asset
