Summer Job - Operation Services

ROLE DESCRIPTION

Are you looking for a 1-month summer job, starting in July 2023?

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Operations Services team at SES Global Services in a fast-paced, growing organization within a dynamic industry. Based in Betzdorf, Luxembourg, where you will contribute to the day-to-day activities within Operations Services department of SES.

Your responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to):

• Support technical documents review (network diagrams, IP database, etc);
• Support and observe the testing operations for value added services or proof of concept;
• Support and observe the operations of the SES (NMS) monitoring systems and audit monitoring of network equipment;
• Participate in any other project activities.

YOUR PROFILE

1. You must have

• Be a currently enrolled student in Telecommunication Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or in a relevant technical area;
• Computer literacy (MS PowerPoint, Excel, Visio);
• Fluency in spoken and written English with additional languages considered an asset;
• EU-citizenship or valid work permit for Luxembourg.

2. It would be nice if you had

• Have strong interest in the telecommunication business and in satellite technologies;
• Easiness to communicate at all levels.
