Summer Job - Cloud Automation Engineer

ROLE CONTEXT

Are you looking for a 2 month summer job starting in July?

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Cloud Center of Excellence team in a fast-paced, global organization within an innovative and unique industry. Based in Luxembourg, you will contribute to the enhancement of the Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration automations in the context of Cloud Center of Excellence of SES.

Your responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to):

• Identify redundant tasks candidate for automation;
• Help with the review of existing CI/CD pipelines;
• Identify areas of improvement to achieve pipelines optimization;
• Build a platform/service to run automation;
• Assist in deploying and configuring Azure Cloud infrastructure using modern DevOps tools and practices;      
• Work with CCoE developers on maintaining code quality (open-source providers updates, Azure updates, etc.);
• Interact with existing APIs, tools and SES Cloud environment.

YOUR PROFILE

1. You must have

• Current student in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or in a relevant area;
• Fluency in spoken and written English with additional languages considered an asset;
• EU-citizenship or valid work permit for Luxembourg.

2. It would be nice if you had

• Strong interest in code development, cloud infrastructure or DevOps;
• Knowledge of at least one programming language (Python preferred).
