ROLE DESCRIPTION

Are you looking for a 6-month internship in Strategy starting in January 2025 ? 

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a fast-paced, global organization within an innovative and unique industry, ensuring unique learning experiences.The Strategy & Market Intelligence (SMI) Global Verticals team is responsible to improve the company’s tactical and strategic decision-making by providing market research, intelligence data and insights about the market, customers and competition. You will contribute to evaluating our global satellite video markets, tracking key competitive and market information, analyzing major trends, and making those analyses available across the organization. This position will also support the company’s primary market research projects, such as the annual Satellite Monitor, the industry’s premier accounting of satellite’s TV reach, currently in its 30th edition.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with various other departments and business verticals, including regional sales and marketing teams in Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and the Americas. 

In this context, your responsibilities will include (non-exhaustive list): 

• Assist the SMI team in providing ad-hoc support for regional Sales, Marketing, and other internal stakeholders;
• Assist sales with country-specific customer/competition insights and go-to-market strategies;
• Support primary market research projects including scope design, vendor management, organization of research results and data analysis;
• Databases management and data preparation, including data cleaning, organization and structuring of raw data.

YOUR PROFILE 

1. You must have

• Being an advanced Bachelor/ Master’s student in Business/Economics or in a relevant technical area;
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel; 
• Strong logic and analytical skills; 
• Fluency in spoken and written English;
• EU citizenship or a current valid work permit for Luxembourg.

2. It would be nice if you had 

• Experience with data preparation and data visualization
• Knowledge in Python
