ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

As part of the Talent Acquisition team, you will play a key role in supporting efforts to attract, identify, and hire talented individuals who help bring our ambition to life.
As a Recruiter at SES, you will support Talent Acquisition activities across Europe and occasionally globally. You will manage end-to-end recruitment processes, partnering with hiring managers and HR colleagues to successfully fill roles. You will contribute to sourcing and hiring efforts in competitive technical markets, while helping ensure a positive experience for both candidates and stakeholders.
In this role, you will work on multiple open roles, sometimes within Agile frameworks, collaborating with a range of stakeholders. You will develop knowledge in a technical area (e.g., cyber security, software, or cloud) and use market insights to support hiring decisions. You will also contribute to talent attraction initiatives, including events, and help promote SES as an employer of choice.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY RESULT AREAS
• Support recruitment activities across international markets, contributing to hiring plans and processes for technical roles
• Manage assigned requisitions, supporting hiring managers and coordinating across stakeholders
• Contribute to multiple recruitment projects, helping the business meet hiring goals in competitive markets
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand hiring needs and support recruitment planning
• Gather and share market insights to support hiring decisions, including compensation and talent availability
• Manage full-cycle recruitment processes, including intake meetings, job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with candidates, colleagues, and stakeholders
• Represent and promote the company’s brand and culture to candidates
• Partner with hiring teams to understand role requirements and provide input on sourcing approaches
• Help deliver a positive and engaging candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
• Act as a point of contact for HR colleagues, sharing insights on hiring activity and process improvements
• Support participation in events, job fairs, and university engagement initiatives
• Contribute to employer branding activities and recruitment-related projects, including events and partnerships
• Build an understanding of how a global organization operates and how Talent Acquisition supports business objectives
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• Proven experience as a technical recruiter or headhunter, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in technical recruitment within the technology industry, including experience managing multiple roles simultaneously
• Exposure to one or more STEM disciplines, with the ability to partner with business teams on hiring needs
• Experience supporting talent sourcing strategies in the tech sector and contributing to data-informed hiring decisions
• Proficiency in LinkedIn Recruiter and familiarity with sourcing tools and techniques
• Experience supporting employer branding efforts and recruitment events
• Experience recruiting for leadership and non-technical roles is a plus
PREFERRED / NICE TO HAVE
The following will be considered a plus:
• Experience recruiting for leadership and non-technical roles OR/AND
• Prior experience recruiting for satellite programs across MEO, GEO, and/or LEO segments
• Familiarity with satellite manufacturing processes, including assembly, integration, and testing (AIT)
• Understanding of satellite subsystems such as payload, propulsion, power, thermal, and avionics
• Ability to identify and attract talent with experience in high-volume or scalable satellite production environments
• An existing network within aerospace, space technology, or satellite communications sectors
