Specialist, Investor Relations

You will support the execution of SES’s Investor Relations activities and engagement with our global institutional shareholder base, prospective investors, equity sell-side analyst and other relevant stakeholders.


Reporting to the Head of Investor Relations, this role works closely with CFO, other members of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), and offers exposure to all areas of the business, in addition to driving value externally. This role will also involve some international travel.



Extended Job Description:



  • Contribute to the preparation of quarterly results materials, Annual Report, and other media/content
  • Provide detailed analysis of sell-side broker research and forecasts in detail, monitor analyst perception, develop action plans to address gaps, and take the lead in working with the external consensus provider 
  • Act as a day-to-day point of contact for sell-side analysts and buy-side investors for information requests
  • Prepare regular detailed financial and operational benchmarking/analysis of our main competitors for the SLT, including working with members of our FP&A and Strategy teams to address key performance gaps
  • Preparation of external ESG reporting and materials, in collaboration with the ESG team, in line with the evolving regulatory requirements and financial markets best practice landscape  
  • Monitor the main elements impacting the daily trading and development of our share price   
  • Support the Head of Investor Relations on sell-side road shows, as well as participate in certain buy-side investor road shows, conferences, and ad hoc meetings/conference calls
  • Contribute to continually improving the Investor Relations equity narrative, materials, and activities  
  • Build a network of contacts across all levels of the business to source information for Investor Relations and to provide external market views to our business
  • Role may also involve providing support to other functions within the Finance team and/or the organisation

  • Ability to manage simultaneous work streams and deliver to tight deadlines



  • University degree in a relevant field (i.e., finance, business, management)
  • At least 3 years’ relevant experience in an Investor Relations, equity/credit research, and/or finance role
  • Strong financial background / knowledge
  • CFA preferred but not essential



  • Highly literate in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) strongly preferred, while fluency in French and German would also be an advantage
