Specialist, Facility Management

In this role as a Specialist, Facility Management (FM), you will work with internal and external staff to accomplish the general care and maintenance of the ground infrastructure and facilities, as well as internal moving activities and other projects within FM. You will utilize the relevant management systems to ensure that all agreed service levels are achieved and maintained, with no interruption to any essential services whilst ensuring the integrity of the location is always maintained. This position includes and covers all aspects of FM work coordination, building management and design of office space through support in conceptual and planning solutions.


Extended Job Description:



  • Act as main point of contact for any facility issues on Betzdorf site
  • Maintain the quality, appearance, cleanliness, safety, functionality of the Betzdorf buildings and facilities of SES in the most timely, efficient, economical and organized manner
  • Provide solutions for solving urgent/emergency technical issues to the building infrastructure and equipment
  • Responsible for FM services, ensuring the delivery of all contracted and supplier partner services to agreed SLA’s
  • Lead the outsourced FM support team: plan, direct and coordinate the daily activities of various external contractors, supervise the team performance and achievements within deadlines.
  • Ensure negotiation with service providers/suppliers in order to deliver best price and quality solutions for the company
  • Act as a project coordinator and execute on small and local projects, including their organization, planning, budgeting, implementation and collaboration with other stakeholders
  • Responsible to plan, coordinate and manage the smooth organisation of all Company moves on Betzdorf site
  • Maintain space and office furniture inventory activities, update the KeyLogic database, ensure that all building records are up-to-date
  • Use computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) to create 2D / 3D designs of office space layouts and participate in the conceptual design
  • Timely answer and maintenance of incoming tickets raised by employees in internal ticketing system (SNOW), processing and controlling of invoices and work orders, opening and monitoring budgets in the financial system (SAP), preparing and updating forecast
  • Liaise, as required, with Health & Safety, Security, Technical facilities and other management groups and all contracted services

  • High school diploma or equivalent, a degree in architectural studies or construction management is considered as an asset
  • 5 years facility services experience
  • CFM or similar certification considered as an asset
  • Experience with MS Office Tools, computer-aided design and drafting (CADD)
  • Valid driving license
