ROLE DESCRIPTION

Are you looking for an internship in Engineering starting in May 2025 ? 

 

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the SES Media Solutions Engineering team (MSE) based in Betzdorf Luxembourg, you will form part of the Solutions Engineering team supporting the Media vertical, who’s responsibility it is to deliver key strategic solutions in our growing and ever demanding market.
The role requires you to create diagram templates for satellite media solutions. Further you will be reviewing and updating satellite payload performance and signal transmission databases to be compatible for transition towards a new satellite generation. This includes the use/creation of satellite engineering tools and reports dedicated to the wider Solutions Engineering team. 

In this context, your responsibilities will inculde (but will not be limited to):

  • Work together with Solutions Engineering teams to create and store Critical Satellite performance Data Information.
  • Create templates for signal and service diagrams for Satellite Media related solutions and build up a suite of template components and icons for future use
  • Improve and update internal satellite and ground infrastructure databases and dashboards
  • Provide other ad-hoc support for various internal stakeholders in SES Media

 

YOUR PROFILE
1.You must have

  • Current student in Engineering Telecommunications, (BSe, MSe)  Information Technology or in a relevant area;
  • Programming skills in Phyton, MS-VBA, JavaScrypt, Mathlab or similar ;
  • Very strong computer literacy (MS PowerPoint, Excel, Access); 
  • Fluency in spoken and written English;
  • Able to work in Luxembourg (EU-citizenship or valid work permit for Luxembourg).

 

2. It would be nice if you had

  • Knowledge of MS Power BI and/or other data visualization software considered a big plus;
  • Strong interest in the global technology, media, and telecom business and satellite communications in particular;
  • Additional languages considered an asset (French, German).
