Senior Specialist, Talent Acquisition

As a Senior Specialist, Talent Acquisition at SES you will have responsibility for Talent Acquisition activities in Europe and sometimes globally. You will be responsible for the successful management of end to end recruitment campaigns from cradle to grave. You will be identifying, selecting and hiring in competitive technical talent markets for SES. Your role will involve managing internal stakeholders (hiring managers, HC colleagues) as well as the candidates ensuring all have a great experience. Your work will directly impact the growth of the business and you will create and own talent sourcing strategies to support high growth areas to enable the business to scale at pace. You will work to manage multiple recruitments, some under Agile methodologies managing multiple stakeholders. In your role you will specialise in a key technical area i.e. cyber security, software or cloud and leadership recruitment as you are researching each project you will bring data intelligence to the business to support hires and help SES understand key market trends and competitor intelligence enabling the business to provide competitive attraction packages in tough market conditions. You will be a brand ambassador for SES and work on specific events to attract talent.

 

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY RESULT AREAS

 

 A strategic recruitment role using your wide international experience to design processes and talent strategies for key technical areas of the business

 Ownership of priority hires running Agile sprint processes and managing multiple stakeholders

 Lead and evolve early talent initiatives including internship and graduate programs, owning end-to-end program management from workforce planning and university engagement  through to recruitment, onboarding, and program delivery, ensuring a high-quality experience while building sustainable pipelines of future talent for the business

 Ownership of multiple international projects you will directly impact how the business grows its people taking strategic decisions around building teams in a competitive landscape

 Partnering with key business stakeholders to understand the future of their teams and building recruitment plans to support the growing areas

 Providing live market data to contribute to the Company understanding how to position compensation packages for specific skillsets and locations

 Responsible for full cycle technical recruitments and end to end management of open requisitions, including line manger intake calls, creating and posting job ads, proactive and diverse candidate search, applicants screening and interviewing, job offers and contracts

 Actively build and maintain excellent relationships with candidates, colleagues and business leaders bringing real time data intelligence to your searches to help the business make informed data-led decisions on hiring

 Be the ambassador for the company brand and culture and you instinctively sell opportunities for candidates to join an employer of choice

 Be the trusted adviser, who partners with technical business functions to understand their current and longer-term strategic skill requirements, you will not be afraid to challenge the status quo and will create and own bespoke hiring strategies for complex hires

 Provide an amazing candidate experience as this is the most critical aspect of effective talent acquisition

 Be a trusted point of contact for other HC functions, providing information and guidance and suggestions regarding the markets you are working and improvements in processes you share

 Make recommendations and provide participation in various events, job fairs, engagement with universities, professional associations, etc

 Work on branding initiatives, owning projects end to end for Europe including event selection, participation and creating and maintaining partnerships

 Understand how a global company operates, as well as the local market dynamics and how the TA team contributes to its success and the achievement of strategic objectives

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

 

 Track record as a skilled senior level technical global recruiter or head-hunter, able to support multiple business functions and add to business unit hiring strategies specializing in one or more specific STEM areas

 Minimum of 7 years relevant technical recruitment experience in the technology industry with a successful track record of hiring up to 15 technical roles in parallel

 Proven track record of leading end-to-end executive search and selection for Director, Head of, and C-suite roles across technical and corporate functions

 Highly skilled and experienced using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools

 Proven experience in creating successful brand partnerships and event participation to propel recruitment forward
