Senior AI Business Analyst

ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

This is an opportunity for high-performance individuals who want to understand the whole picture of how AI and data-driven transformation affects businesses and shapes organizations. As part of SES’s global Data Analytics & Integration function, you’ll join the team driving the AI Hub initiative of highly diversified and collaborative people, applying generalist problem-solving skills to strategic questions. You will have an opportunity to participate in the Digital Transformation of a Satellite Communications Company by keeping a start-up mindset, problem-solving attitude, management consulting approach, and a passion for data-driven thinking. You will be on a mission to leverage state-of -the art AI and data technologies to drive simplification and automation, re-think how work gets done together with business stakeholders all-across the company. As the AI Business Analyst you will act as a key interface between business stakeholders and AI/ML delivery teams, translating needs into actionable AI opportunities and supporting delivery and adoption across SES.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• AI Opportunity Identification: Engage stakeholders, run discovery workshops, assess processes.
• Requirements & Use Case Definition: Translate needs into structured user stories and requirements.
• AI Product Delivery: Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers, validate feasibility, support iteration.
• Change Management & Adoption: Support communication, training, documentation, and rollout planning.
• Data Understanding & Governance: Conduct high‑level exploration, ensure data requirements and compliance.
• KPIs & Value Tracking: Define KPIs, track performance and value realization.
• Project Coordination: Align with teams, coordinate timelines, ensure transparency.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Internationally recognized university degree in Technology, Engineering or Business.
• 5+ years experience in business analysis, data analytics, or AI/ML.
• Experience in cross-functional, data-driven environments.
• Exposure to Azure, Databricks is a plus.
• Fluency in written and oral English. Other languages are considered valuable assets.
• Experience working in an international business environment.
