Project Manager, Transformation

The Project Manager is responsible for managing strategic projects through to completion with a focus on company transformational activities. The role is crucial in helping the organization to execute at pace and collaboratively with all parts of the organization on business-wide initiatives. 

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY RESULT AREAS

  • Project management, with the ability to navigate complex projects and deliver results that align with the company's strategic and operational objectives
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, defining scope, objectives, budget, milestones and deliverables to ensure successful realisation
  • Prepare and present project reports and metrics to stakeholders and senior management to monitor progress and early identify issues 
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including user stories, sprint backlogs, and release plans
  • Implement project risk management plans to minimize project delays and challenges, ensuring that appropriate measures are in place to overcome 

 

Transformation programme:

  • Oversee the planning, execution and end-to-end delivery of the transformation program, ensuring realization in collaboration with business owners  
  • Coordinate workstreams, timelines and priorities, with active intervention to overcome roadblocks as they arise and drive continuous pace and momentum in transformation program
  • Lead and manage cross-functional project teams, providing direction, coaching and support
  • Ensure clear communication and reporting on progress throughout the project lifecyle, in close collaboration with Change Management and Transformation Office Team.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
  • 10 years of project management experience, ideally within a transformation or change management context 
  • Proven track record of successfully leading programs from inception through completion, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and budget
  • Proven ability to manage and engage with multiple stakeholders, including senior leadership, customers, and cross-functional teams 
  • A track record of successful project delivery, managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Effective management skills and analytical skills, capable of working both independently and collaboratively
  • Experience in Project Management and Agile Tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, JIRA) as well as in PowerBI or similar tools for reporting and data analysis is desired
  • Project management certifications are advantageous 
  • Agile Development certification a plus
