ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

You will be responsible for the architecture and design of the functional solutions in the ERP landscape, and its supported processes, as well as for planning and executing transformational projects on the domain. We will provide all the resources needed for developing new solutions, for gate-keeping the design principles overall and for executing full lifecycle Projects (from RFP to full delivery).  In this process, you will be expected to nurture relationships with business process owners and to have a good understanding of overall processes (logistics/ financials).

 

You will be responsible for (this is not an exhaustive list):

  • Understand in detail existing processes/definitions, design new processes and act as ultimate gatekeeper for correct process definition.
  • Lead functional coordination across the ERP delivery teams to ensure delivery / definition alignments.
  • Work in close collaboration with the continuous improvement teams to classify the evolutive backlogs and ensure alignment with higher level process definitions.
  • Participate on Key projects as an SME (Subject Matter Expert) to guide decisions / definitions on how to define integrations and processes. Ensure they are respected and followed.
  • Lead the translation of business requirements into specific systems, applications, data models, or process designs for potentially large and complex IT solutions while balancing architectural concerns of the projects with the concerns of the enterprise
  • Liaise with End-2-End architects to coordinate end-2-end implementation of business processes, data models and interfaces
  • Manage Transformational projects related to ERP supported domains, from inception to conclusion.
  • Lead certain key projects on the organization, ensuring adherence to PMO methods and using commonly agreed tools (ADO, PBI, MSPO (MS Project Online)). Ensure on time / on budget / on quality delivery of projects.
  • Adhere and comply with Project Management procedures and governance.
  • Manage third party supplier relationships (consultants and application suppliers) when assessing systems requirements and ensure that SES’s requirements are clearly communicated. Ensure that suppliers make clear commitments to the stated requirements. Monitor their performance throughout the duration of the project to ensure that they deliver quality systems that meet SES’s project requirements

 

YOUR PROFILE

 

Must Have

  • Proven record of accomplishment in implementing large international ERP projects / rollouts and related business solutions; including organisational change management;
  • Expert knowledge in the domains of SAP-FI, SAP-CO and proficiency on logistics modules.
  • Proven S/4 experience (either on deploying the solution or on operating it).
  • Strong project management skills with experience on multiple methodologies (waterfall, Agile).
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Computer Science, Info. Systems or business discipline
  • Minimum 10 years of global operational, financial, and organisational management experience with progressive responsibilities and visibility
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in implementing and designing ERP tools in a global company
  • Strong understanding of integration between different backend processes and impact between each other (Lead to Order, Finance, Accounts Payable and receivable, Human Resources, Treasury, Logistics).
