Junior Analyst, Treasury US Activities

ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The incumbent is responsible for the execution of selected back, middle and front office activities, mainly in the areas of cash management, in-house bank operations, money markets and management reporting.  S/he is exposed to a broad range of Treasury topics and is encouraged to lead improvement initiatives in the areas of digitisation and/or increasing efficiency. An important part of the role consists of providing regular reporting, provision of the data for accounting entries and supporting reconciliation. This position contributes to the Company’s success by supporting the global Treasury operations and takes up an advisory role towards the business.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support daily cash management duties
  • Bank guarantee portfolio management
  • Bank account management (opening, closing, mandate letters)
  • Reporting and analysis of bank fees on Group level
  • Fulfil KYC requirements with relationship banks
  • Administration of Treasury related transactions in SAP
  • Together with the Front Office, ensure that reliable and accurate Group reporting is done on time
  • Engage in the ongoing development of the Treasury reporting (through SAP and Power BI)
  • Analyse and reconcile gaps between budget / forecast vs. actuals
  • Support cash forecasting process
  • Back-up for Weekly Treasury Dashboard and formulating related recommendations
  • Support internal and external audit requirements
  • Support in all other treasury related matters such as market analysis, risk management, preparation of presentations, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Relevant education at academic level e.g., degree in Finance or Economics
  • At least 1 years’ experience working as a treasury professional in an international environment
  • Sound understanding and knowledge of treasury and related matters
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ideally also SAP, 360T, Bloomberg
