Internship - Toolbox for Satellite In Orbit Test data post-processing and visualization

ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

6-month internship, starting in Q1 2022

Based in Betzdorf (Luxembourg), this is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience with satellite in-orbit testing, and more in particular with the creation of a toolbox for the post-processing, analytics and visualization of such data.

 

Extended Job Description:

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review the profile of available raw measurement data and understand their meaning and usefulness
  • Support the creation of a toolbox for the management of these data, for their post-processing.
  • Propose means to analyze these data in a dynamic manner, extracting useful and valuable information in an efficient manner.
  • Support the creation of a modern visualization tool for such data.

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • Engineering profile with specialization in telecommunications (understanding of RF spectrum, antenna patterns, IQ samples, constellation plots, etc)
  • Knowledge of post-processing tools which can be from simple MS Excel to Matlab, etc. Knowledge of visualization tools, such as PowerBI, or willingness to learn such tools. 
  • Fluency in spoken and written English with additional languages considered an asset
  • EU-citizens or work permit for Luxembourg
