This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Systems Development Engineering team in a fast-paced, global organization within an innovative and unique industry.
Based in Betzdorf - Luxembourg, you will contribute to the deployment of SES’s next-generation of software-defined satellite payload systems.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the development of digital models representing the architecture and behaviours of the next-generation of software-defined satellite payload systems
• Contribute to the design definition and validation of the database systems hosting these digital models
• Develop engineering analysis software proof-of-concepts with their detailed documentation
• Support the maintenance of satellite payload data capabilities in operational databases
• Support project management activities

YOUR PROFILE

• Being a current BSc/MSc student in telecommunications and/or computer science engineering or in a relevant technical area;
• Knowledge in database system design and applications;
• Knowledge in Matlab and/or Python software languages, knowledge in functional programming being an asset;
• Strong interest in satellite telecommunications;
• Strong interest in solving complex problems;
• Excellent analytical and judgment skills;
• General computer literacy (MS Office suite);
• Work independently as well as in a team;
• Ease to communicate at all levels;
• Fluency in spoken and written English with additional languages considered an asset;
• EU-nationality or work permit for Luxembourg.
