Internship - Spacecraft Systems Engineering

ROLE DESCRIPTION 

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Spacecraft Systems Engineering Team as an intern starting in January 2024.


Based in Betzdorf, Luxembourg, you will contribute to modeling and analysis tools, data trending and parameterization for the mpower MEO constellation strategy, satellite fleet relocation and in-orbit operations.
 


RESPONSIBILITIES

Your responsiblities include, but are not limited to:

  • Work together with the Spacecraft Systems and Subsystem teams to build and assess satellite reliability models
  • Collect and analyze on-orbit operations data across the satellite fleet
  • Work on orbit relocation procedure development and relocation strategy
  • Simulate operational procedures, build operational models and data analytics tools to assess fleet performance and optimization
  • Work on mPower constellation and fleet strategy procedures, processed and tools

 

YOUR PROFILE

1. You must

  • Currently be enrolled as a student in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering or in a relevant area.
  • Have very strong computer literacy (MS Excel, MS Work).  Experience with MS Azure, MS Datalake, PowerBI, Python and/or MATLAB is a strong plus 
  • Fluency in spoken and written English;
  • Able to work in Luxembourg (EU-citizenship or valid work permit for Luxembourg).

 

2. It would be nice if you had 

  • Knowledge of MS Power BI and/or other data visualization software considered a big plus
  • Strong interest in the global technology, telecom business and satellite communications in particular
  • Additional languages considered an asset
