ROLE DESCRIPTION

Are you looking for a 6-month internship in Engineering starting in Janaury 2024 ?

 

Are you passionate about the space industry? Then, this is your chance to gain a first-hand experience within a world leading company in satellite communications at our global HQ in Betzdorf.
The Service Management Centre (SMC) is looking for a highly motivated Intern who will support a team of Analysts, while collaborating with the Digital Network Operations (DINO) and Astra Access Centre (AAC). This is an exciting opportunity that will provide you with a solid foundation for your future career!
In this position, you will be in charge of (non-exhaustive list):

  • Leading the Tools Transition project within SMC:
    • Evaluating measurement tools and understand risks/dependencies;
    • Validating mitigation plans (Proof of Concept);
    • Creating a timeline and prepare a communication plan;
  • Liaising with Dino, AAC, various engineering team.

 

YOUR PROFILE 

1. You must have

  • Bachelor/Master’s student in Electronics, Telecommunications, or any other relevant technical area;
  • Details oriented, analytical, and perseverant;
  • Confidence in working independently while possessing excellent communication skills;
  • Fluency in English;
  • Able to work in Luxembourg (EU nationality or current valid work permit for Luxembourg).

 

2. It would be nice if you had

  • Experience with Project Management principles and ability to apply PM methods;
  • Knowledge of MS Power BI and/or other data visualization software;
  • A good sense of ownership and accountability;
  • Any additional language (e.g., French or German) being an asset.
