Internship - Group Financial Reporting

ROLE DESCRIPTION

Are you looking for a 6-month internship starting as soon as possible ?


Based in Betzdorf, Luxembourg, you will get the exciting opportunity to become part of the Group Financial Reporting team in a fast-paced organization within a dynamic industry. You will contribute to the SES Group’s monthly closing process, as well as to the analysis and visualization of the group’s key financial and operational metrics. In that regard, you will be actively participating in the following activities (not an exhaustive list): 

  • Preparation and execution of key monthly IFRS consolidation steps;
  • To contribute to the drafting of both internal and external reporting including the group’s consolidated financial statements under IFRS and presentations for the board and top management;
  • Updating and maintaining reporting templates and dashboards using Microsoft PowerBI, and making these available to the relevant groups of people; 
  • Setting up the automatic generating and distribution of standard monthly reporting analyses.

 

YOUR PROFILE

1. You must have

  • Current university study in the area of Computer Science or Finance;
  • Strong interest in data analysis, data modelling and computer coding;
  • Fluency in spoken and written English;
  • Able to work in Luxembourg (current valid work permit for Luxembourg or EU nationality)
     

2. It would be nice if you had

  • A combined degree in the areas of Computer Science and Finance;
  • Strong computer literacy (MS PowerPoint, Excel, Access);
  • Knowledge of MS Power BI and/or other data visualization tools a plus;
  • Additional languages considered an asset.
