Internship - Group Financial Reporting

ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

6-month internship, starting in February 2022

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Group Financial Reporting team in a fast-paced, growing organization within a dynamic industry.
Based in Betzdorf (Luxembourg), you will contribute to the analysis and visualization of the group’s key financial and operational metrics working supporting the development of reporting portals and dashboards which make decision-support information available in an intuitive and easy-to-use form to key SES staff across the group.

 

Extended Job Description:

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work together with the Group Financial Reporting and Financial Performance Management teams in defining reporting requirements and implementing the necessary data structures and data capture arrangements
  • Developing flexible reporting templates and dashboards using tools for data analysis and presentation, including Microsoft PowerBI, and making these available to the relevant groups of people depending on their functional requirements
  • Setting up the automatic generating and distribution of standard monthly reporting analyses
  • Training team members to maintain and develop these tools and reports

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • Current university study in the area of computer science, or possibly a combined degree in the areas of computer science and finance
  • Strong interest in data analysis, data modeling and computer coding
  • Very strong computer literacy (MS PowerPoint, Excel, Access); knowledge of MS Power BI and/or other data visualization tools a plus
  • Fluency in spoken and written English with additional languages considered an asset
  • EU-citizens or with a work permit for Luxembourg
