Internship - Global Programmes and Events

6-month internship, starting mid-September 2022 until mid-March 2023
Along with the Global Programmes and Events Team, you will be involved in the preparation and production of a variety of events including

  • SKO|23 (SES Sales Kick-Off event – February 23) 
  • Global Milsatcom November 22
  • Mobile World Congress February 23 
  • Satellite launch events support

Based in Betzdorf (Luxembourg) or The Hague (Netherlands) this internship will allow you to put into practice your digital marketing and event production skills and obtain new skills in various systems used in digital marketing.



  • General support to Global Programmes and Events Team and to the rest of the growth marketing team in terms of virtual events.
  • Support the development of the digital marketing campaigns: creatives; emails, landing page, social media plan…
  • Coordination with Marketing OPS teams for campaign implementation in SES CRM tool. 
  • Gather and check conference content elements (speakers’ info, abstracts, web links…)
  • Keep track and provide regular updates of campaign performances and dashboard.
  • Extract post-event analytics and create reports.
  • Support lead identification and follow-up with lead management team.
  • Manage direct contacts with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with the Internal and External Communications Teams in the preparation, execution, and amplification of news and social media activities.
  • Learn and manage SES hybrid event and online webinar platforms for the upcoming SES internal and external events, when applicable. 



  • Current Bachelor / Master’s student in Marketing, Business, Communication and/or in a relevant technical area (Digital Marketing, Web Management…)
  • Excellent IT knowledge: Microsoft Office (MS PowerPoint, Excel, Access), Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator)
  • Positive, proactive, dynamic, can-do attitude with the ability to work autonomously as well as in a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills: ready to work in a challenging international environment
  • Good organization and time management skills: ability to set priorities and work under tight deadlines
  • Fluency in spoken and written English (any other language is a plus: German, Luxembourgish, Portuguese…)  
  • EU-nationality or work permit for Luxembourg
