Internship - Data Migration & Analysis

ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

6-month internship, starting in January 2022

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Commercial Services team in a fast-paced, global organization within an innovative and unique industry. You will work directly with the Data Migration team to help facilitate data migration activities from the legacy CRM systems to the new CRM application.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Perform data analysis in order to manage and validate data between source and destination;
  • Assist in cleansing and translating data so that it can be effectively moved between systems;
  • Test the new system after the migration process as well as the resulting data to find errors and/or points of corruption;
  • Participate in quality management reviews as outlined in the Verification and Validation Overview;
  • Build algorithms to score data and report on specific data quality metrics
  • Work and collaborate with various departments to understand and gather the required data.

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • Being an advanced Bachelor/Master’s student in IT/ Business Administration or in a relevant technical area;
  • Strong interest in the media/telecommunication business;
  • Computer literate in MS PowerPoint, Word with good skills in Excel;
  • Acumen for details with sharp analytical skills, and self-motivated in taking initiatives and learning;
  • Ability to set priorities and to work under tight deadlines;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; 
  • Fluency in spoken and written English;
  • Comfortable working remotely and collaborating over Microsoft Teams;
  • EU-citizen or work permit for Luxembourg.
